The Berkeley campus houses Construction Services, the Regional Laboratory, and ClinTech.
ClinTech researches information about medical equipment management, service and clinical systems support. It also stays informed about FDA issued hazard alerts, clinical technology assessment and planning activities.
Construction Services is the regional administrative headquarters for Kaiser NCAL Construction Services. In addition, it houses a manufacturing cabinet shop that produces cabinets for medical office buildings, exam rooms, break rooms and cafeterias. The Construction Services facility also houses Patient Care Services, a nurse locator for Medical Centers.
The Berkeley Regional Laboratory is the central processing center for 70% of the specimen coming from all of the medical centers in the NCAL region. The specimens are tested and the results delivered back to the 16 medical centers.
